I’m not much of a shopper, but after months of having access to little more than what is at Wal-Mart and TJ Maxx, it’s a treat to venture into Houston’s retail world. It’s fun to browse and get a feel for what’s new.
In case you’ve haven’t noticed, stripes are everywhere,
in fashion,
in home accessories,
in items just for fun
or for inside and out
It doesn’t matter whether they are straight
or offset
or diagonal.
They work in all kinds of ways.
Did I follow the trend? You bet.

It is around 60 here today. Yesterday got up to 69. The flowers are opening like spring but I know we will have some more cool weather.
In Houston right now enjoying the beautiful weather. Though there will be some off days, it is lovely here until midMay. Flowering trees are beginning to bloom now….lovely.
