A friend visiting likes old tools, so the hubby and I could think of no better place to take him than Liberty Tool.

No matter how many times we go there, I am always fascinated by the selection of old and used items.

They are not carelessly arranged either. Everything is carefully marked so there is no question about what it is or the price.

What is really amazing about Liberty Tool is it is busy, and some people actually find that something for which they are searching.

Since we are close, no way could we resist going to John’s Ice Cream, home of what many in Maine think is the best ice cream in the state. That’s saying something since there are a number of tasty ones locally made.

It’s not easy to choose from all these temptations.

When I noticed peanut butter crunch was on the menu, I had no problem. Let me tell you I savored every bite of this creamy, calorie laden goodness!

On the way home, we couldn’t resist stopping at Cellar Door Winery.

On the first day of fall, it was a beautiful place to relax in the sun and sip a glass of wine in the adirondacks.

As afternoon turned into the golden hour, the view into the vineyards was stunning.
Sunday is, indeed, for wandering and there is always something to see.
Looks like a great outing. Thanks for sharing.
Another perfect day! My hubby would love the tool store and we would both love the ice cream!
We’ve been doing some wandering on Sundays and it’s been fun. Hubby would really enjoy looking through that tool store!
Sounds like a perfect way to spend the day. I’m sure my hubby would find something to his liking, both in the tool store and the ice cream parlor. 😃
