There is still some last minute shopping to do and presents to be wrapped, but the table is set for Christmas dinner. I’m not sure what that says about my priorities!
It was easy to get this one ready because, as shown last week, one centerpiece is common to all the tables prepared for the holidays.
All that has to be done is exchanging one set of dishes for another. This time the tableware is the traditional Spode Christmas tree pattern sitting on chargers on sale at Michael’s for 70 cents each. If you have a store nearby, the Christmas chargers are a great buy!
I did change out the napkins for some hastily made ones from fabric that had been in my studio for some time. The edges are serged with gold metallic thread that matches the stitching on the table runner.
With the pronounced holly berry pattern in the napkin, this napkin ring is perfect.
As with all the holiday tables, stemware repeating the Christmas tree pattern is used and for water my favorite cranberry thumbprint glasses that seem to go with most everything I have.
So, there it is, a table full of Christmas cheer. The only thing missing is you, and I do hope you enjoy your table wherever you are.
i so appreciate your visit and the comments you leave behind

I hope you made memories at that lovely table that will last for many years to come. Merry Christmas to you both.
Thank you, Karen.
Merry Christmas to you all—-as usual—I love all your blogs. ❤️❤️
I think I may have been a weaver in another life! Still so drawn to the art 🙂 Your site is great!
Thank you. Weaving, at least in the US seems to be a dieing art. I love continuing the tradition.
Beautiful and the Spode is timeless! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I love your table. I also have Spode Christmas Tree and I always like to see it used in different settings. Merry Christmas!
What I like about the Spode pattern is it never seems to get old.
Looks lovely! I have the same glasses and dishes. My mom’s spode. This will be our first year without her. I think it will make me happy to look at her things that I recall using for so many years and remember our many good Christmases together.
My mother gave me the Spode years ago. Like for you, the dishes remind me of her. Have a wonderful Christmas.🎄
Looks very pretty
