Super Bowl is right around the corner, and no matter who you are watching it with, it’s a good idea to have yummy snacks on hand. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t like spending a lot of time on appetizer type things, so the one I’m sharing is perfect. In fact, it’s so easy I’m almost embarrassed!
Looks good, huhn? Well, here’s all there is to it. Spread hummus, any flavor, on a serving platter. Top it with tabouli and surround it with pita chips or your favorite cracker. If you are feeling industrious, you can make the tabouli, but the easier way is to buy it at the grocery.
I promise you this will disappear in a flash, so it’s not a bad idea to have refills on hand. Thanks to my friend Gray for introducing me to this super easy appetizer. It is now my go to!
i so appreciate your visit and the comments you leave behind

I love hummus, but I’ve never eaten tabouli. I’m sure it’s good, good, good! I love pita chips. I bought 2 huge packages of them at Costco just before going into the hospital. They’ve been my go to crunch!!!
I like the idea of tasty AND easy! I’ll grab a container of the tabouli at Costco to give it a try!
Looks like a great party and the food is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your post with Full Plate Thursday. Hope you are having a great week and come back to see us real soon!
I love easy peasy appetizers and this one is healthy too!..
It’s even better when it taste good.
It looks great! I even have the hummus already! Since Seattle is playing, a lot of my friends will be glued to the Superbowl.
Hummus and tabouleh – two of my favorites. Luckily for us there is an excellent Arab bakery and deli very close by.
Then you need to get some yummy pita bread to go with this dip.
I will – they sell bags of pillowy pita bread that’s still warm.
Yum! Looks great.
Looks beautiful, and healthier than the usual seven-layer dip with sour cream, cheese, guacamole, etc.
Believe me, it’s even better than it looks!
What a great layered appetizer. Thanks for sharing. I love easy!! And of course here in the Seattle area we will be having Super Bowl parties! Our church is even having a Super Sunday with two pastors squaring off in head to head sermon series on heroes of the Bible…
I’d love to be there to hear the ministers. Go Seahawks!
Yummy, and simple = Happiness dance .. Thanks for the post.. Take care and happy blogging to ya, from Laura ~
Happiness dance….I like that.
I agree with Jeanne — love ’em both. An ingenious way to combine two faves.
I promise this will be one of your best finds!
Sometimes easy is the best! I love both ingredients, what’s not to LOVE!
