I don’t know about you, but I always have some last minute shopping to do before Christmas. If you are in that bind, here are some finds that may make it easier for you. In fact, you just might want one or two for your own stocking.
For the cook or the person who enjoys beautiful food photos and stories, there is no shortage of cookbooks.
In her newest one, Ina Garten has a variety of dishes that can be prepared ahead, a real bonus for a dinner party.
This one I’m keeping for myself. It is chock full of personal tidbits and flavorful recipes that seem as comforting as the title implies.
And, if you are in to gracious entertaining, Elizabeth Stone’s book is a must. She is a long time friend, and I was delighted to find some of her wonderful recipes and party planning ideas in print.
If you are shopping for a coffee lover, a Nespresso frother is a must. It is one of those things that makes life a more special.
For the Downton Abbey fan, there’s a full line of products from tea to wine. I found them at World Market
where you can’t go wrong with a tin or two or three full of gingersnaps. They are not only good cookies, but they are a great with sweet and savory cheeses.
Anyone who likes a great beer will be delighted by a Chimay gift box.
Oh, and don’t forget the dog with a cute sweater for frosty days.
