The party started smaller. It was a spring gathering for folks who’ve known each other for ages, a fun way for us to stay in touch. These days it has grown as the party now crosses generations with our children coming with their children. It is one of those times that is so special thanks to the thoughtful generosity of our hosts.
No detail is unattended. Spring flowers festoon gates
Kids shriek with delight as they scale the climbing wall
or bounce again and again in the jumping house.
There is entertainment for young and old(er). This duo, Trout Fishing in America belting out songs like Pico de Gallo or My Hair Had A Party Last Night, is one of my favorites.
Hungry? The food tables are laden with goodies sure to satisfy guests of all ages
and the dessert table is an island of temptation!
The cake pops are a big hit, and I love their presentation. The trick: styrofoam blocks in the bottom of the container are covered with colorful grass which makes it real easy to stick the pops in and have them stay upright. I’m going to remember that if/when I ever make cake pops!
No question about it, this is one swell party….even the Easter Bunny checks it out and gives it a thumbs up. Some folks just know how to do it right and make life a little more fun for the rest of us.
i so appreciate your visit and the comments you leave behind
