My bags are packed, I’m ready to go. I’m leaving on a jet plane to Bangkok, Vietnam and Cambodia for a dream adventure. It is an adventure in so many ways. The journey is with three women friends, none of whose husbands were interested in this trip. This is a first for me, and we’ll be gone three weeks, the longest I’ve traveled with girls or been away from the hubby at one stretch. Do you think absence will make the heart grow fonder?
Who knows how internet connections will be so I may neither hear from you or you from me. You can be sure though that at some point I will share the food, the people, the places.

I hope one day I will but in the meantime I’ll just keep dreaming and when that’s not enough for me I’ll make some S E Asian food ! Claire x

Holy Peter, Paul & Mary, Batman!!!! That’s a whale of a trip!!! PLEASE be careful and have a ton of fun!!! Take pictures of EVERYTHING!!!! And please be sure to let us know how the food in each country differs. That’s always interesting to me!

My daughter visited Thailand last year and said she wished she could have stayed! Have a wonderful time!
My cousin from Fort Myers has been there several times. She loved it but said it was very hot in Cambodia. I think it is a trip of a lifetime and you will love it too. And hubby will learn a lot about all you do when you are not there to do it and appreciate you all the more. Have a great time and share your wonderful photos with your fans.
