A witch wandering in dimming light
Together they came upon a spooky house where nothing stirred, not even a mouse.
“Let us settle right here,” they said, “and together we’ll share much good cheer.”
Plates black as the raven and bowls the colors of gourds will work just right
and make a table setting for Halloween night.
With napkins tied in a little pouch just so
we’re all set and ready to go.
i so appreciate your visit and the comments you leave behind

Halloween Together is always Fun! Love your Spooky House and the poem you created. Your table is so cute anda great place to celebrate.
Thanks, Pam
Love your imagination and playfulness Linda, just love it!
Thanks, Claire. I like that you use the word playfulness. That’s the way life should be!
Linda~ I love your little gourd witch! Your spooky book/roof birdhouse is such a clever idea~ fun, fun for a centerpiece at the table!
No telling how the little witch would fit into your creative thoughts. She would be host to all kinds of things.
Super vintage-style Halloween decorations – love them!
When you find all these unrelated things, you have to find a way to use them. I’m always glad for your visit.
You had me at the darling Jack-O-Lantern witch on the first picture. So cute! I also loved your Halloween book. I haven’t seen too many Halloween books around so this is a treat!
Thanks, Maria. The book is actually the roof of the birdhouse which has a totally spooky theme.
Good morning, Linda! I really like your descriptions: “Plates black as a raven and bowls the colors of gourds…” Wow! We’ve got ourselves a regular poet here!!! 🙂 Neat flatware presentation, too, with the raffia tied around. That gives it a very nice fall look. I hope you have a great weekend and a not-too-spooky Halloween!
No spooky Halloween at all. I’ll be on the road, not even giving out treats and hoping for no tricks.
Oh this is so cute!!….Great spooky table!!…I love the runner!
Thanks!!
