Returning

OK, we’ve gotten leaving out of the way, so we can talk about returning, coming home which isn’t all that bad.

What I love most about returning to Houston is that our family is here.  Of course, they are all busy with their own lives, but it’s good to know that they are close and that from time to time we can share in their activities.

I love home, both our house and neighborhood where everything is so familiar.

I like attending Ordinary Life at St. Paul’s UMC to continue my spiritual journey, and I love the church itself, reminiscent of lovely old European churches and one of Houston’s 50 iconic buildings.

I’m happy to return to old friends with whom so much has been shared.

Yes, it’s good to be home.

What special meaning does home have for you on this fall Sunday?

i love your comments, so jump right in and share yours

  3. Ahh…it was so hard for me to have Summer end, but here we are, in the full of Autumn. And a very full life. Life goes on. Thanks for sharing your home and place of worship.

It was wonderful to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.

  7. you said it so well – as wonderful as it is to go someplace, there really is no place like home. Your church looks very similar to our UMC. I love having such a beautiful place to worship. laurie
